DESIGN BRIDGE IS A CONTEMPORARY INDUSTRIAL DESIGN EXHIBITION CREATED TO INTRODUCE AND CELEBRATE INDUSTRIAL DESIGN IN PERTH.
As Perth’s first dedicated industrial design exhibition, it aims to make the discipline more visible to the local community, showcasing how industrial designers shape the products, technologies and experiences of everyday life.
The exhibition brings together students, emerging and established designers, universities, companies and creative practitioners, presenting a diverse selection of contemporary projects.
With a strong connection to Italy and its design culture, Design Bridge also creates a dialogue between Italian and Australian design, connecting different perspectives and encouraging new relationships and opportunities.
More than an exhibition, Design Bridge is a platform to build awareness of industrial design and its future in Perth.

about the Organiser
Silvia Sala is an Italian Industrial Designer based in Perth and the curator of Design Bridge.

Originally from Italy, she studied and worked in the Italian design industry before moving to Australia, where she continued her career as an Industrial Designer.
​
Through Design Bridge, Silvia aims to share her passion for industrial design, make the discipline more visible in Perth, and create a platform where designers, students, universities and industry can connect and exchange ideas across cultures.
